For over 30 years, Dennis Ingolfsland directed college libraries and taught Bible courses to college and seminary students, most recently as a tenured, full-professor of New Testament Studies at Crown College. After pastoring a small church in Shakopee for seven years, he became pastor of Randolph Baptist Church in January, 2018. He is also the Minnesota Ambassador Captain for Alliance Defending Freedom.
Dennis worked on a large dairy farm during high school and then spent six years in the Air Force as a crew-chief on the C-5 Galaxy. He then finished his education with a B.A. in biblical languages, a masters degree in library science, a masters degree in theological studies and a doctor of philosophy degree in religion and society with an emphasis on historical Jesus studies. Dennis has published two books (The Least of the Apostles and I Pledge Allegiance to the King), one evangelistic booklet (Will the Real Jesus Please Stand up,) 40 magazine and journal articles, more than 80 book reviews, and has presented numerous papers at Evangelical Theological Society conferences.
Dennis’ travels have taken him to numerous countries including Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Greece, England, Germany, and even Iran. In 2015 he taught a class on Christology at an extension of Moscow Theological Seminary in Khabarovsk, Russia.
Dennis is happily married to Sheila who has a B.S. degree in management and ethics from Crown College. Dennis and Sheila have three grown children and nine living grandchildren.
